En Kanavan En Thozhan (English: ''My Husband is My Friend'') is a Tamil soap opera that premiered on 29 October 2012. It airs Monday through Friday at 2:00pm on Vijay TV. The series was originally airs in Star Plus as Diya Aur Baati Hum starring Anas Rashid and Deepika Singh.
== Plot summary ==
En Kanavan En Thozhan is the story of Sandhya who dreams to became an IPS officer by the inspiration of her father. But she get married to surya. Surya helps sandya to fulfill her dream. But sandya's strict mother-in-law Saroja did not want it. Finally she get a promise from sandya that sandya have to manage not only an IPS officer but also a good daughter-in-law. Sandya went to Hyderabad for IPS training. She won best cadet trophy under many circumstances. Kavita, a politician wants to get the vote of people by doing many plans. But sandya stopped her all plans. Sandya knows the true face of kavitha by Someshwar. But Sandya's family believe Kavitha and decide to vote her.
